Salons and Ownership

I started my career working in salons, where I honed my skills and gained valuable insights into the art of hairstyling. Eventually, I took the leap and became the proud owner of my own salon. Owning a salon was both challenging and immensely rewarding, as it allowed me to create a space where clients could feel their most beautiful.

Education and Expertise

My passion for beauty education led me to become an educator for Alterna Hair Products Company. Teaching aspiring stylists and professionals was not only fulfilling but also a chance to contribute to the industry's growth. I also had the privilege of educating at a TIGI Beauty School, where I shared my knowledge and enthusiasm for hairstyling.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work on photoshoots, editorial shoots, fashion shows, and much more. You may be familiar with my work today, but let me assure you, it wasn't always this picture-perfect. In the early days of my journey, I was utterly clueless about how to properly section hair, what to do with those pesky front strands after forming the bun, and why my styles seemed to have a mind of their own with frizz and unruly elements. My attempts at glamorous waves often turned into a chaotic ordeal, falling apart and going flat at the front.

Honestly, I used to lean towards boho styles because I mistakenly believed they allowed for a certain level of frizz and tousled elements, as if it was part of their "natural, undone" charm. But deep down, I yearned to be an elegant, refined bridal stylist.

By sharing my knowledge and expertise, I've had the privilege of assisting wedding stylists in achieving that polished, sophisticated texture they desire while also helping them understand the "why" behind their techniques. With this newfound knowledge, they too can confidently excel during the bustling wedding season, delivering impeccable bridal hairstyles.
